Video: Dan Hardy, John Gooden offer in-depth analysis of UFC 188

Ahead of Saturday’s UFC 188 pay-per-view event in Mexico City, go inside the main card for an in-depth breakdown of the heavyweight title fight.

Former UFC welterweight title challenger and current UFC Fight Pass analyst Dan Hardy previews the event alongside broadcast partner John Gooden as part of the UFC’s preview series with Unibet, “Inside the Octagon.”

In the above video, the guys preview Saturday’s headliner between heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez (13-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) and interim titleholder Fabricio Werdum (19-5-1 MMA, 7-2 UFC), who meet in a title unification bout. And in the co-feature, former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez (25-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) meets former Strikeforce champ and two-time UFC title challenger Gilbert Melendez (22-4 MMA, 1-2 UFC).

In addition, Hardy and Gooden take a look at the fight between Kelvin Gastelum (10-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC), who moves to middleweight from welterweight, and former Strikeforce 170-pound champ Nate Marquardt (33-14-2 MMA, 11-7 MMA); a featherweight bout between Yair Rodriguez (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Charles Rosa (10-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC); and a women’s strawweight bout between “TUF 20? castmates Angela Hill (2-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Tecia Torres (5-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC).

UFC 188 takes place Saturday at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City. The main card airs live on pay-per-view (10 p.m. ET) following prelims on FX (8 p.m. ET) and UFC Fight Pass (6:30 p.m. ET).
