Video: Champs Eddie Alvarez, Conor McGregor lead intense parade of UFC 205 staredowns

NEW YORK – A lot can happen in six weeks, but if the UFC 205 lineup can stay together as planned, it’s unquestionably the biggest card in the history of the promotion.

Earlier today, the stars of UFC 205 came together for a news conference to support the official announcement of the evening’s full lineup.

As expected, UFC lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez and featherweight champ Conor McGregor were the featured attractions. And while they dominated the conversation during the media session, they also earned the most noise during their tense staredown, as well.

Other fighters on the stage included welterweight champ Tyron Woodley vs. Stephen Thompson, strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Yoel Romero vs. Chris Weidman and Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum.
