The time is now, the UFC says, for women’s fights in the main and co-main events. To get ready, check out the extended video preview of “UFC 184: Rousey vs. Zingano.”
Women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey puts her title on the line Saturday against Cat Zingano at the pay-per-view event, which takes place at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Rousey (10-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) has been out of the first round just one time and has all of her wins by stoppage – eight by her famed armbar. Zingano (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) puts her unbeaten mark on the line, as well, and goes after Rousey’s belt.
In the co-feature, former pro boxer Holly Holm (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) makes her long-awaited UFC debut when she takes on Raquel Pennington (5-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC).
