Urijah Faber Celebrates Retirement by Sitting Atop UFC on FOX 22 Fighter Salaries | MMAWeekly.com

Michelle Waterson and Mickey Gall scored upsets on Saturday, but neither came close to topping the UFC on FOX 22 fighter salaries. That honor went to Urijah Faber, who retired following his fight.

Waterson upset rising star Paige VanZant in the UFC on FOX 22 headliner, while Gall got the better of youngster Saige Northcutt in the co-main event. Waterson was paid $30,000 for her victory, while Gall made $40,000. Both were paid less than the fighters they defeated.

Faber, however, who is riding off into the sunset, defeated Brad Pickett in front of his hometown fans in Sacramento, Calif. He was paid $320,000 for the victory, sitting atop the disclosed payroll for the event.

The California State Athletic Commission released the UFC on FOX 22 fighter salaries to MMAWeekly.com on Monday. The event took place on Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
