The ratings rollercoaster for the 16th season of the Ultimate Fighter continues as the latest episode bounced back after the worst in series history.
According to industry sources, the sixth episode of the season went back up to 811,000 viewers, which is a big increase from the series low for episode five which had 624,000 viewers.
The show featuring coaches Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin currently airs on Friday nights on FX, but it will be the last time the show is featured on that night and time.
Season 17 of the reality show picks up in early 2013 with coaches Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen leading the way, and FX has promised to move the show to a different weeknight to help attract a bigger audience.
The next episode of the current season of the Ultimate Fighter will air at 10pm ET/PT on Friday night on FX.
