The top pound-for-pound fighter in the world was back in action this past Saturday, and he didn’t disappoint.

Demetrious Johnson (26-2-1 MMA, 14-1-1 UFC), the world’s No. 1 flyweight, as well as the top all-around fighter on our list, made tying history look easy against Wilson Reis (22-7 MMA, 6-3 UFC) in the UFC on FOX 24 main event in Kansas City, Mo.

Johnson tied Anderson Silva’s record for most consecutive UFC title defenses with 10 when he submitted Reis, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, with a third-round armbar. Now he goes after solo history whenever he returns.

But obviously “Mighty Mouse” can’t move up from No. 1 – but he did cement his status as the world’s best pound-for-pound fighter and made a case to be called the greatest of all time.

There was other activity, though, after UFC on FOX 24 – including Robert Whittaker’s destruction of Ronaldo Souza. What did that mean for the top of the heap at middleweight?
