The UFC is officially headed to Milwaukee’s Bradley Center on Aug 14 with the UFC on Versus 5, headed up by the main event fight between Dan Hardy and Chris Lytle.
The main card was officially announced on Thursday with Lyle and Hardy leading the way.
Both Hardy and Lytle are coming off losses as they head into their bout, so redemption will be on the line between two of the hardest hitters in the UFC.
“Dan Hardy and Chris Lytle want to stand toe-to-toe until someone falls and that’s a recipe for an outstanding fight,” UFC President Dana White said. “This is the fight both guys wanted, so the fans in Milwaukee are in for a treat.
The co-main event for the card will pit former WEC lightweight champion Ben Henderson against arguably the man who is already the No. 1 contender for the UFC 155lb title, Jim Miller.
“The Miller-Henderson fight should be equally exciting since both guys love to come forward and press the action. We can’t wait to host our first event in Wisconsin this summer,” White stated.
The other main card bouts announced for the August show include former ‘Ultimate Fighter’ finalist Stephan Bonnar against hard hitting Karlos Vemola, and another bout that is sure to bring fireworks when Amir Sadollah meets Duane ‘Bang’ Ludwig.
Tickets for the Aug 14 card go on sale Saturday, June 11 at 10 a.m. central time and range between $250 and $50.
UFC Fight Club members will have access to an exclusive pre-sale on Thursday, June 9 starting at 10 a.m. central time.
