Round 1: They open up trading kicks, and start mixing in punces, both fighters getting some good licks in before Dollaway takes it down to the mat. Dollaway takes Hamman’s back briefly before they go up, and then Dollaway takes it right back down. Dollaway takes the back again and looks for the choke, switches to an arm triangle. Hamman staying calm, trying to relax and relieve the pressure of the choke. Dollaway gives it up and moves to mount, but Hamman regains full guard. Dollaway drops some heavy bombs on Hamman, but he’s out and they get back to their feet. Dollaway drags him down, but Hamman reverses into Dollaway’s full guard when Dollaway tried to take his back. Hamman working the ground and pound, stand up and passes to side control before sliding immediately into full mount. He transitions to Dollaway’s back, but Dollaway is out, they’re back on their feet, and Dollaway lands some heavy punches to the face, staggering Hamman, but can’t finish before the bell. Round 2: Hamman tries to get his striking going again, establishing his jab right away. Hamman is firing away, rocks Dollaway, and just misses with the jumping knee. He keeps going with the punches, relentlessly opening up with his hands. Dollaway drops down for a takedown, but Hamman drops with him and takes control on the ground, Dollaway on his back, eating punches from Hamman. Hamman is mixing it up, dropping punches and elbows from standing, and then drops to side control, pummeling Dollaway. Hamman moves to full mount and unleashes the punches. Dollaway covers up and is turning, but can’t get away from Hamman’s assault. Hamman just keeps throwing blow after blow until referee Herb Dean calls a halt to the punishment.
