SAN JOSE, Calif. – If anyone doubted whether or not undefeated UFC middleweight Chris Weidman was for real prior to his fight with Mark Munoz at Wednesday night’s UFC on Fuel TV 4, all doubts should by now be erased.
Weidman did what no other fighter has done before, putting the former NCAA wrestling champion on the mat and dominating him before knocking him out with a well-timed elbow in the second round.
UFC president Dana White, Weidman, and several other UFC on Fuel TV 4 fighters met with the media following the fight to discuss their fights and futures, including whether or not Weidman is ready for the widely regarded pound-for-pound best fighter in the world Anderson Silva.
