Ronny Markes vs. Andrew Craig

Round 1: Markes takes the center of the cage.  Craig moves forward.  Markes moves in and Craig lands a left hook.  Markes ties him up and presses Craig against the cage.  The two work for position against the fence.  Markes works for a single leg takedown and gets it.  Craig immediately gets back to his feet, but Markes stays on him and presses him against the cage.  Markes elevates Craig and slams him to the canvas.  Craig works to get back to his feet.  Markes takes his back and works for a rear naked choke.  Craig stays calm and defends the submission attempt.  Markes still has his back with a minute on the clock.  Craig turns and gains top position at the bell.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Markes.

Round 2: Craig delivers an outside leg kick to start the round.  Markes looked for a takedown but Craig pushes him away.  Markes rushes in with a right hand, but Craig lands a counter shot. Markes drives forward and secures a takedown.  Markes works from the half guard position.  He isolates an arm and works for a kimura.  Craig escapes the submission attempt. Craig stands.  Markes works for a takedown.  Craig peppers Markes with short shots on the inside.  The referee separates the fighters.  Craig misses with a high kick.  Markes circles on the outside.  Craig chases him.  The round ends.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Markes.

Round 3: Markes immediately clinches and secures a takedown.  Craig fights to get back to his feet but Markes is still on him.  Craig turns him and separates.  Craig lands a right hand that hurts Markes.  He gains top position.  He works punches and elbows in the half guard position.  Markes works back to full guard.  Craig lets him up. They exchange and the bell sounds.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Craig.

The judges score it for Markes by unanimous decision.  All three scorecards read 29-28.
