Round 1: They touch gloves.  Faber takes the center of the cage.  He throws a high kick and takes McDonald down.  McDonald traps the left arm of Faber.  Faber lands right hands to the body.  Faber gets his left arm free.  Faber peppers McDonald with short punches to the body.  Faber lands a right hand.  McDonald delivers elbows from the bottom.  Faber lands right hands to the body and referee Herb Dean stands them up.  McDonald lands a kick to the body.  McDonald lands a kick to the body.  Faber catches it and lands a left hook.  McDonald lands a combination.  Faber steps in with a hard right hand.  Faber lands a left hand and the round ends.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Faber.

Round 2: McDonald takes the center of the cage and lands a jab to start the second round.  Faber looks to get the fight to the ground and McDonald shakes it off.  Faber lands a lead left hook.  Faber lands an inside leg kick to the groin and McDonald is given time to recover.  The fight is restarted.  Faber lands a huge right hand.  McDonald is  hurt.  Faber lands a front kick to the face.  McDonald circles on the outside.  Faber moves forward.  McDonald lands a hard outside leg kick.  McDonald unable to get any offense going.  McDonald lands but Faber hits him with a right hand that wobbles McDonald.  Faber chances him and lands another right hand the knocks McDonald down.  Faber jumps on him and applies a guillotine choke.  He tightens it down and McDonald taps out.
