UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis will step into the Octagon for his first title defense opposite former Strikeforce champion Josh Thomson at UFC on Fox 9 on Dec. 14 in Sacramento.
They, and several other UFC on Fox 9 fighters, along with company president Dana White, kick things off on Thursday, Oct. 3, at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento with a public press conference.
