UFC on FOX 22: Alan Jouban vs. Mike Perry video highlight

Alan Jouban fought a tight, disciplined fight to hand Mike Perry the first defeat of his professional career.

The welterweight bout opened today’s UFC on FOX 22 main card at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif. It aired on FOX following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Well aware of the powerful strikes of Perry (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC), Jouban (15-4 MMA, 6-2 UFC) utilized a kick-heavy attack to keep the fight at a safe distance. Perry had very few moments of effective offense and was dropped to the canvas on multiple occasions. In the end, the judges saw the fight 29-28, 30-27 and 30-27, all for Jouban.
