Round 1: Viana takes the center of the cage.  Hernandez circles on the outside.  Viana leaps in with a right hand that knocks. Hernandez down.  Hernandez gets back to his feet. Round 2: Viana lands a right hand.  Hernandez moves forward and is met with a right hand.  Viana’s paces has slowed a little.  Hernandez continues to come up short with his punches.  Hernandez lands a left hand.  Viana fires back and misses with a huge right hand.  Hernandez delivers a counter left hand.  Hernandez moves forward and Viana unloads shots and Hernandez isn’t firing back.  Viana lands a leg kick.  He plants his feet and fires, landing a right hand.  Hernandez is moving forward, he’s just not generating much offense.  Viana picks up the pace toward the end of the round.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Viana.

Round 3: It’s the same as the first two rounds.  Hernandez moves forward and Viana hits him.  Viana hasn’t hurt Hernandez, though.  Viana lands a right hand.  Hernandez misses with a left.  Hernandez lands a right hand on the inside.  Viana fires back.  Hernandez continues to move forward.  Hernandez picks up the pace.  Viana lands a crisp combination.  Hernandez is fighting with a sense of urgency now.  He lands his jab.  Hernandez lands a combination.  Viana circles away.  Hernandez lands with his jab.  Viana delivers a combination.  Hernandez does the running man, taunting Viana.  He lands a hard right hand.  Viana circles.  Hernandez lands a counter left hook.  He lands a right hand.  They trade right hand.  The round ends.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Viana.

The judges scored the fight for Viana by unanimous decision.  All three scorecards read 29-28.
