UFC continues to map out early 2017 with events in Anaheim, Denver, Brooklyn, Las Vegas

The UFC continues to fill out its dance card for the first part of 2017. The stops will include a new location as well as a few old haunts.

UFC 208 is set for Anaheim, Calif.; UFC 209 will be in Brooklyn, N.Y.; and UFC 210 heads to Las Vegas. In addition, UFC on FOX 23 is set for Denver, site of UFC 1. The cards were announced on FS1’s “UFC Tonight.” The promotion already had announced first-quarter 2017 events in Phoenix, Houston, Halifax and London.

UFC 208 will take place Jan. 21 at Honda Center in Anaheim. On the same night, Bellator 170 is scheduled to take place at The Forum in nearby Inglewood. UFC on FOX 23 takes place at Pepsi Center in Denver on Jan. 28 – the week in between the NFL’s conference championship games and the Super Bowl. The UFC traditionally hosts a FOX-broadcast card on that date.

UFC 209 will be the promotion’s first event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Feb. 11. That announcement comes just three days before the UFC’s historic return to the state of New York for Saturday’s UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden. The promotion also will visit New York next month for UFC Fight Night 102 in the state capital of Albany. UFC 210 is set for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

No fights for any of the cards were announced.
