UFC and 'TUF 20' hopeful Felice Herrig posts epic Instagram photo in New York subway

We’ve seen some cool promos and billboards before, but this one might be the leader in the clubhouse.

Imagine for a minute you’re on the next cast of “The Ultimate Fighter.” Now imagine the UFC and FOX Sports bring you to New York as part of a media tour ahead of the season premiere. Now think what it would be like to be in the subway, and see a train pull up – with your picture wrapping the side of it.

That’s what happened to “TUF 20? strawweight Felice Herrig on Wednesday in Manhattan. She posted photos of herself in the subway, standing next to herself, with ordinary, everyday commuters in the train car behind her. It’s bound to be one of the more unique moments in her life.

Herrig, who trains in Chicago’s north suburbs, is one of 16 contestants on the upcoming “TUF 20,” which begins Sept. 10 on FOX Sports 1. The show, coached by UFC lightweight champ Anthony Pettis and former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez, features nothing but women’s strawweights, and the winner of the show will be crowned the first UFC 115-pound champion.

The popular Herrig, who has fought for Invicta and Bellator, is one of the early favorites heading into the season, along with the likes of Carla Esparza, Tecia Torres and Rose Namajunas.
