UFC Unveils Canada-Wide Community Initiative on Tuesday

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will unveil a Canada-wide initiative aimed at helping communities across the country on Tuesday, April 26 (10 a.m.). The announcement is being made as Toronto is set to host UFC 129: St-Pierre vs. Shields, Ontario’s first-ever UFC event at Rogers Centre on April 30.

UFC fighter Sam Stout will join Director of Canadian Operations Tom Wright at Toronto’s Cabbagetown Youth Centre (CYC). Originally founded in 1972 as the Cabbagetown Boxing Club, the CYC has expanded to meet the growing needs of the community to provide a complete range of recreational, social and educational & skill development programs for all ages, while maintaining a specific focus on at-risk children and youth.
