UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell officially announced his retirement on Wednesday, ending the fighting career of one of the most popular UFC fighters in the company’s history.
“The Iceman” started his career at UFC 17 in 1998 and finished it at UFC 115 in June 2010. In becoming the UFC light heavyweight champion and defending his belt four times, Liddell amassed a professional mixed martial arts record of 21-8.
