UFC Fight Night 73: Beneil Dariush vs. Michael Johnson video highlights

NASHVILLE – Beneil Dariush’s UFC Fight Night 73 split decision victory over Michael Johnson seemed to make little sense to anyone in the arena.

The lightweight bout co-headlined today’s UFC Fight Night 73 event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass.

Dariush (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) was given the win with scores of 29-28, 28-29 and 29-28. The victory shocked seemingly everyone as it appeared as though Johnson (16-9 MMA, 8-5 UFC) had earned the victory after seeming to dominate the fight. Instead of things going Johnson’s way, Dariush is now riding a five-fight winning streak.
