UFC Fight Night 32 draws reported attendance of 10,000-plus

GOIANIA, Brazil – Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night 32 event drew an announced attendance north of 10,000.

UFC President Dana White announced the figure, 10,565, at the night’s post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie.com attended.

UFC Fight Night 32 took place at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil, and featured light heavyweights Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson in the FOX Sports 1-televised headliner. Belfort scored a quick, 77-second TKO in the light-heavyweight bout.

For the UFC’s two most recent “Fight Night” events in Brazil, UFC Fight Night 29 in Barueri drew an announced sold-out attendance of 6,621 fans. UFC Fight Night 29 in Belo Horizonte drew 5,126 fans.

With another slate of Brazilian fighters, UFC Fight Night 32 drew a substantial crowd, which showed up early for the 11-bout lineup.

No live gate figure was announced, though official tallies may be available next week.
