BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil – MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) is on scene and reporting live from today’s UFC Fight Night 28 event.

The card, which features light-heavyweight contenders Glover Teixeira vs. Ryan Bader, takes place at Mineirinho Arena in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The event airs on FOX Sports 1 following a preliminary-card bout on Facebook.

SEAN SPENCER (9-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) VS. YURI VILLEFORT (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC)

Round 1 – Villefort misses on an early leaping knee, and they look to strike quickly. Hands traded before aSpencer low kick sense Villefort to the floor. He pops quickly back up, and they’re punching again. Nice pace to open. Spencer is holding the middle and giving chase. Villefort slaps the leg but eats a counter. Villefort lands two punches and a knee to the body, bringing the crowd alive. Villefort again chops the legs only to eat a right hand. Villefort drops for a takedown, but Spencer pushes him away. Villefort seems to have more power, but Spencer the faster fighter to start. Spencer scores with straight punches. Villefort picks up the paces and kicks the body. He misses on a clinch, and Spencer tags him with quick punches. Back and forth action. Villefort drives in on a takedown, but he can’t hold Spencer down. More kicks from Villefort. Competitive round, but MMAjunkie.com leans slightly toward Villefort, 10-9.

Round 2 – Villefort walks forward and scores an immediate takedown, and Spencer pulls guard. Spencer backs up to the cage and returns to his feet. Villefort kicks the leg, but Spencer catches it. Villefort just misses a snapping front kick. Spencer still walking forward, and Villefort’s mouth is open. Spencer the busier fighter again. He just doesn’t have quite the zip as his opponent. Villefort drives in again but comes up short, and Spencer immediately looks to push in. Villefort kick blocked. Spencer lands a crisp right hand. Villefort answers with two hard kicks to the thigh. Spencer catches a third and lands a right o counter. Spencer chasing, and his corner wants him to turn up the volume even higher. Right hands traded. Villefort is losing some pop on his strikes. He sweeps Spencer down with a low kick, but he pops right back up. Villefort drops for a left but can’t get it. Spencer fires his hands again. Another good round, and MMAjunkie.com gives it to Spencer, 10-9. Scores could be interesting going into the third.

Round 3 – Spencer first to the punch. Villefort looks content to retreat and counter. His leg kicks are still snapping. Spencer stays busy, and he counters a kick before slipping a tricky elbow strike. Villefort misses a big knee. Villefort looking for a homerun strike, and some of his techniques are more flashy, but Spencer is busy. Villefort shoots in for the takedown, but Spencer easily keeps him standing. Spencer outboxing his opponent. He lands a nice kick to the body, as well. Villefort looks tired, but he drops down for another takedown. Again, he has to let it go. Villefort looking to land heavy leather, but Spencer largely avoiding the blows. Big hooks from Spencer. Both fighters trading in the final minute. Round ends, and MMAjunkie.com gives the final round to Spencer, 10-9, awarding him the fight 29-28.

IVAN JORGE (25-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC) VS. KEITH WISNIEWSKI (28-15-1 MMA, 0-4 UFC)

Round 1 – Jorge rushes forward with a right hand and into a takedown, but Wisniewski holds him back. Jorge nearly ducks into a knee, but he moves away at the last moment and lands a stiff leg kick shortly after. Wisniewski moves into a clinch but can’t secure the head, and Jorge backs away. Stiff jab for Wisniewski. Jorge looks a little uncomfortable to start. He’s trying manage the distance against his taller opponent. He looks again for a takedown but can’t get the angle. Jorge kicks the legs but takes another knee to the body. Jorge wraps the neck and delivers a few knees to the head. Jorge trying hard for the takedown, grunting as he looks for position. Instead, Wisniewski hits him with a knee, and they rest. Jorge lands a crisp left hand and kick to the legs, but Wisniewski is back with more knees inside. Jorge with another clinch, but he can’t get the takedown. MMAjunkie.com gives the first to Wisniewski, 10-9.

Round 2 – Jorge picks up the pace to open, much to the delight of the crowd. He’s quickly inside again, and Wisniewski defends against the cage. This time Jorge gets the takedown, but Wisniewski scrambles back up. Jorge moves to the back and figure-fours the leg. Referee Mario Yamasaki calls for action, and he lets go but quickly moves again to a similar spot. Wisniewski defends the position and looks to Yamasaki for a restart. Jorge slips in two right hands. Finally, a restart, and the crowd cgeers. Jorge looks tired, and Wisniewski is pushing forward. The knees have been a big weapon so far. He drives a few inside to the body. Jorge looks for a takedown and gets it. Wisniewski tries to hit a switch but instead crawls to his feet. Jorge still pressing in, and Yamasaki calls for action. We get another restart. Wisniewski lands another knee and wants to strike from distance. Instead, Jorge gets inside, where the round ends. Not a lot there, and while Jorge was pushing in for most of the round, MMAjunkie.com gives the round to Wisniewski, 10-9, for the work he did striking.

Round 3 – Touch of gloves to open. Jorge slashes the leg. Wisniewski looking to punch from range. They move inside again. Jorge is tired. Wisniewski wants the knees, which have been his best strike, but Jorge stalls inside when he gets to the clinch. Dueling Thai clinches. The taller Wisniewski gets the best strikes in those exchanges, but that’s not saying much. Yamasaki calls for a break, and Wisniewski seems to be complaining of a low blow. But Yamasaki didn’t make it known that’s what he saw. Jorge busy on the restart. He delivers knees inside and looks for a takedown. Not there, but he punches the body. Jorge seems to be digging deep for something, but Wisniewski is stalling now. Another restart with one minute remaining. Jorge quickly inside again. He knees to the body. Crowd trying to will him on. Fight ends in the clinch. MMAjunkie.com gives the final round to Jorge, 10-9, but gives Wisniewski the fight 29-28.

Round 1 – Silverio with an early high kick that’s blocked. He comes back with a kick to the legs. Zeferino shoots in for a takedown, but the action stalls against the cage. Zeferino continues to work for the position against the cage. Silverio sprawls well and stays on his feet. Zeferino relentless as he looks for a takedown, but nothing is there, and Roberts calls for a restart. Silverio works kicks again to start. Zeferino walks through them and pushes again into the cage. Silverio again defends well against the fence. Zeferino catches a knee inside, and we have a brief break. On the restart, Silverio again works with kicks, but Zeferino shoots in for a takedown. He gets it, but Silverio scrambles up. Zeferino moves in again, but he falls to his back. Silverio in his opponent’s guard, but he backs away in the final minute. Silverio lands a stiff jab as the begin again. He’s still firing kicks, as well. Round ends on the feet, and MMAjunkie.com leans toward Silverio, 10-9.

Round 2 – Silverio again looking to strike. Zeferino trades briefly looks to strike before pushing again into a clinch. Silverio circles off the cage. Continues stalemate against the cage, and referee Leon Roberts breaks them. Zeferino looks to strike, but he eats a crisp right. He shoots in for a takedown, but he seems a bit wobbly, and Silverio pushes him to the canvas. Halfway mark. Silverio working from his opponent’s guard. Nothing there, and Roberts stands them up. Silverio with a crisp two punches a nice high kick, but Zeferino counters by moving inside and scoring an outside trip. Silverio moves quickly back to his feet, and Zeferino tries again to bring the fight to the floor. Zeferino drops to a knee, and Silverio lands a few elbows. Round ends again in the clinch, and MMAjunkie.com leans toward Silverio, 10-9.

Round 3 – Fighters hug to open, and the crowd hates it. The two do pick up the pace, but in a scramble, Silverio works to top position and drives punches to the ribs. As Zeferino looks to scramble, he catches Silverio with an illegal upkick, and we have a brief timeout. Silverio the busier fighter on the restart, and they do trade briefly before Zeferino moves inside again. Silverio alertly gets to top position but then backs away and kicks the legs. Roberts tells him to back all the way away, and we restart on the feet. Zeferino moves in on an overhand right and gets a takedown, but Silverio pops up and reverses the position. Zeferino tries for a sweep but can’t muster the strength. He turns to his knees, and Silverio rattles in a few punches. Not much there, so Silverio backs away for a restart. He lands two punches before Zeferino gets inside. Final minute. Zeferino continues to look for a takedown that won’t come. Round ends there. MMAjunke.com gives the final round to Silverio, awarding him the fight 30-27.

Round 1 – Martins with an early low kick. Hernandez pushes forward and both look ready to strike. Martins kicking early, and he stuns Hernandez with a hook. Hernandez up and looking to throw, but he’s wobbly. Right hand drops him. As Hernandez looks to scramble up, Martins gets on his back, wraps the neck and falls to the floor. The choke is in, but Hernandez refuses to tap, punching until he falls unconscious. Dan steps in immediately. Incredible work from the local fighter.

Round 1 – The longer Souza moving at distance with a wide stance. His hands are low as he circles outside. Big left blocked. Arantes fires out a quick jab. Arantes kicks the leg. Souza wants to engage, and he lands a right hand. He fires a right to the body. Quick jab from Souza. Arantes just misses on a quick spinning kick. Souza looks comfortable, and he’s holding the center. Rihgt to the body. Arantes is against the fence, and Souza hits him with a right. Souza stalking, and he works the body again. Souza really pounding the body, and Arantes ducks under for a takedown. Souza holds tight underneath. He wants the fight back o the feet. Referee Neal Hall watching close, but Arantes punches the body and keeps the fight on the floor. Arantes postures and lands a big right hand before looking for a guillotine as he stays on top. It’s not there, but he transitions to an attack on the left arm. Souza pulls it back, and Arantes finishes on top, earning the round on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.

Round 2 – Souza with a quick jab. He kicks the body, and Arantes nearly catches it. Souza’s stance a little narrower than the first. He’s still very light on his feet. Arantes kicks the thigh, slapping the leg twice. Souza scores with a right hand. Arantes drops fora takedown. Souza defends against the cage and tries to work in elbows. Arantes won’t give up the leg. Souza continues to defend and eventually pulls away. Halfway mark of the fight. Souza with a right to the body. He works the body and looks up top, but Arantes covers well. Souza looks dangerous, but Arantes drops his hands. Souza responds but doesn’t lose control. Lead uppercut. Souza looks dangerous but needs to string things together. Souza holding he center and staying right in front of his opponent. Round ends on the feet, and MMAjunkie.com sees it for Souza, 10-9.

Round 3 – Souza again stalking to open. He’s more upright in his stance and looking to trade. Arantes using kicks to try and beat the distance. Arantes fakes a takedown and just misses with a big right hand. Arantes scores with a left. He’s walking forward now. Souza looks loose. Right hands score, and Arantes is on the defensive. Souza backs him to the cage. He’s teeing off now. Arantes absorbing a few blows, but he shoots in and brings the fight to the floor. Souza gets to a seated position and looks to stand. Arantes stays tied to his body as time ticks down. Souza wants to back away, but Arantes is pressing inside. Referee Neal Hall calls for a restart. Arantes’s nose bleeding, and he wipes some away. Souza’s hands low, and he rifles out a jab. Final minute. Arantes dives in for a takedown. He doesn’t get it, but as Souza turns to punch as a counter, Arantes’ second effort gets it to the floor. Arantes drives in a few knees to the body. Souza looks OK, but this final flurry from Arantes may earn him the fight. MMAjunkie.com leans instead toward Souza, 10-9, giving him the fight 29-28.

Round 1 – The taller Vinicius stays outside early. Bagautinov walks him to the cage. Vinicius misses a low kick. Bagautinov stalking but not committing. Vinicius misses a front kick, and Bagautinov rushes forward with punches and moves into the clinch. Bagautinov presses in from the outside. Vinicius lifts a leg to defend. Bagautinov scores with a right hand, and Vinicius topples to the floor. Bagautinov unleashes a barrage of punches. Vinicius somehow recovers, and Bagautinov elects to drop for a guillotine. It’s there, but Vinicius alertly pushes down the leg and gets out of guard, eventually reversing positions and taking his opponent’s back. Vinicius is very high on the back, and so he looks at the arm as a possibility. Bagautinov defending well from his knees. Bagautinov tries to stand and shake Vinicius off. He can’t, so h settles for keeping his neck safe. Vinicius rolls for an arm, but he can’t sore it. Bagautinov scrambles up, but Vinicius gets a late takedown. Nice reversal by Vinicius, but Bagautinov takes the opening round on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.

Round 2 – Bagautinov patient again, but he rushes forward after a Vinicius low kick. Can’t quite get there, and Vinicius resets. Bagautinov tries to rush in after another kick, and Vinicius looks tired. He stays away, but another low kick sees Bagautinov get inside and take the fight to the floor. Vinicius kicks Bagautinov away for space and crawls to his feet, but Bagautinov is immediately inside for a trip takedown. Vinicius looking for options on the bottom. Bagautinov stands out of the guard, and he lets Vinicius rise, as well. Bagautinov again looks to counter. He’s letting Vinicius be first, but he’s answering well. Round ends with Bagautinov driving in for a takedown, and MMAjunkie.com gives him the second, 10-9.

Round 3 – Vinicius again the one looking to strike. Bagautinov avoids an early kick and rushes with counters. He can’t quite get inside. Crowd restless as Bagautinov stays close but looks to counter. Vinicius kicks the leg, but Bagautinov grabs it and pushes inside. Vinicius tries to secure the neck, but Bagautinov pulls it free and looks for a takedown. Vinicius defends well and laces in a few elbows. Bagautinov relentless looking for a takedown, but the action stalls, and referee Mario Yamsaki breaks them. Straight right hand lands for Bagautinov, and Vinicius drops. Bagautinov pounces with more heavy punches to seal the deal. His celebratory backflip is a little less stylish, as he comes up short.

Round 1 – Natal opens with a low kick as they both dance in the center. Two more follow shortly after. Troeng pumps out a jab, but Natal lands a big counter right. Troeng topples to the floor, but he grabs guard to slow things down. Natal passes the right leg and tries to work from the top. He tries to grab a guillotine as Troeng rolls over to the top and stands. Troeng lands a big left hand as he moves back to the floor. Natal hits a beautiful rolling sweep to the top. Troeng tries to answer, but Natal sits heavy on the top. Natal pushes out to side control and cradles the leg to prevent Troeng from moving. Natal drives in a few short elbows. Troeng sweeps to top, and Natal tries to secure his right arm. He can’t, and Troeng backs away. Troeng pushes in with more heavy punches. He finishes the round on top, but MMAjunkie.com gives the first to Natal, 10-9.

Round 2 – Troeng works an early jab.Natal cracks him with a huge right hand, and Troeng slowly falls to the canvas. Referee Leon Roberts gives him every chance to recover as Natal swarms with punches. Troeng somehow survives the barrage, but Natal is in control. He tries to secure the neck, but Troeng alertly moves out to side control. Unbelievable that he’s still in the fight. They crawl to the feet, but a shaky Troeng is back on the floor. Crowd firmly behind Natal. He works from the top and looks for an opportunity to secure a choke. It doesn’t come, so he settles in. Troeng somehow crawls up to his feet, and he’s got underhooks against the cage. Troeng turns to a kimura grip, but he doesn’t have it. He tries to push in for a takedown. Natal grans the neck, but Troeng rolls right trough it. Round ends in the clinch, and MMAjunkie.com gives it to Natal, 10-9.

Round 3 – Natal misses a front kick. Troeng pressing forward, still looking to trade. Troeng pushes in for a takedown. He gets inside, but Natal defends and looks for a guillotine. He pushes Troeng to the floor but can’t finish the hold. He tries to readjust his grip, but Troeng is showing incredible heart. Troeng rolls over and pulls his head free. Not sure how much energy he has in the tank, but Troeng works from the top. Natal tries for a leg. It’s not there, but he uses it to sweep to the top. Natal looks again for a guillotine from the top. Troeng defends, and Natal transitions to the back. Natal in complete control, but Troeng deserves a lot of credit for his resiliency. Natal finishes the fight on top, dropping elbows. MMAjunkie.com awards him the final round, 10-9, giving him the fight 30-27.

Round 1 – Both fighters pawing jabs to open with Hallmann the orthodox fighter and Trinaldo the southpaw. Trinaldo throws a few big punches that just miss. Overhand left wobbles Hallmann. Trinaldo just misses on a high kick. He connects the body, and Hallmann is hurt. More kicks to the body taking their toll. Trinaldo works it over and over. Hallmann’s ribs reddened. Trinaldo pushes inside but quickly backs away. More kicks to the body. Hallmann lands a knee inside. Trinaldo vicious with the kicks. Left hand just misses. Trinaldo punches the same spot the kicks have been landing. Trinaldo chasing forward, throwing big punches. He gets a late takedown. Hallmann warned for grabbing the cage. They crawl up before the bell, and MMAjunkie.com gives the first to Trinaldo, 10-9.

Round 2 – Trinaldo throws a high kick, but Hallmann slips under it and pushes him to the floor. Trinaldo leg is on the shoulder, but Hallmann pushes it off. He can’t hold Trinaldo down, thought, and they reset on the feet. Hallmann slips on a high kick. Trinaldo follows and tries to attack the leg, but that allows Hallmann to move to a dominant position. They work up to the feet, and Trinaldo drives in on a takedown. Hallmann defends well and lands a few punches inside. He pushes Trinaldo down, and Hallmann works from the top. Hallmann landing a few short elbows, and he turns to attack the right arm with a kimura. Trinaldo grimaces but doesn’t quit, but a second Hallmann effort gets the tap for a come-from-behind win.

Round 1 – Formiga bouncing at distance. Benavidez with his hands high. He lands a front kick. Formiga darts out of range of a Benavidez flurry. Benavidez lands to the body. Formiga scores with a left, and he looks ready to trade early on. Flurries from both in a good start to the bout. Benavidez kicks the body. Formiga moving well early on. Benavidez firing punches, and Formiga not looking to grapple just yet. Benavidez landing the bigger blows, including a straight left. Turning kick from Formiga misses. Benavidez there, and he wobbles his opponent with a few crisp punches. Benavidez senses the opportunity unleashes a knee to the body and a right hand. Formiga falls, and Benavidez pounces with some 10 heavy punches before Yamasaki casually steps in to stop the fight.

Round 1 – Souza takes the center and fakes with his head, looking for Okami to move. Hw kicks to the body, and they briefly clinch. Souza lands a punch inside that stuns Okami. Souza feels the trouble and unleashes some 25 punches, but Okami covers up against the cage and weathers the storm. Souza backs away, and they reset. Okami pumps a few jabs, but he’s content to react for now. Souza hits hi with another right hand. Okami tries to fire back, but Souza decks him again with a heavy right. Souza pounces with more punches, and Okami is in trouble. He tries to recover, but it’s not going to happen. Referee Leon Roberts steps in to call the fight.

Round 1 – Bader wth a quick jab, and he shoots in for a takedown. Teixeira defends it. Bader lands a glancing right hand that seems to wobble Teixeira. Bader drops for a guillotine. It looks dangerous, but Teixeira escapes, and Bader climbs to his feet. Teixeira scores a takedown, but Bader climbs to his feet agains and circles off the cage. Short punches for Bader inside. Teixeira knees and then thinks guillotine. He lets it go, and Bader backs away. Bader lands an uppercut, and he’s not afraid to trade. Teixeiramisses a high kick over the top. Bader with a straight right. He lands again, and Teixeira is wobbled. Teixeira climbs up and scores with a power shot, a straight left after a right. Bader collapses to the floor. He’s in trouble, and Teixeira unloads until referee Herb Dean comes in for the stoppage.
