UFC Fight Night 101 draws announced sell-out of 13,721 for $2.2 million AUD live gate

MELBOURNE, Australia – Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 101 event drew an announced attendance of 13,721 for a live gate of $2.2 million AUD.

UFC officials announced the tallies following the event, which MMAjunkie attennded.

UFC Fight Night 101 took place at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The event aired on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

UFC Fight Night 101 was the 10th UFC event in Australia and second in Melbourne. The country didn’t host its first UFC show until “UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez” in February 2010.

The first Melbourne event, “UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm,” took place in November 2015. That event took place at Etihad Stadium (now known as Docklands Stadium) and drew an announced attendance of 56,214 for a live gate of approximately $6.8 million. It set a UFC attendance record.
