The fight card for UFC Fight Night 85: Hunt vs. Mir has undergone a last-minute shuffle due to an injury and visa issues.
The flyweight bout between Justin Scoggins and Ben Nguyen was cancelled on Friday when Scoggins had to withdraw due to an undisclosed injury. UFC officials also announced on Friday that Abel Trujillo would be unable to face Ross Pearson after visa issues forced him from the card.
Chad Laprise was pulled from his scheduled bout against Alan Patrick and paired with Pearson. Pearson and Laprise are expected to headline the UFC Fight Pass prelims.
It took a couple of days, but UFC matchmakers eventually settled on Aussie Damien Brown to fight Patrick.
UFC Fight Night 85 takes place at Brisbane Entertainment Center in Brisbane on Sunday, March 20 local time. It airs on Saturday, March 19, across North America due to the time difference.
