UFC 206 bonuses: Do you really have to ask if Cub Swanson-Dooho Choi was 'Fight of the Night'?

TORONTO – Cub Swanson, Dooho Choi, Max Holloway and Lando Vannata each picked up $50,000 fight-night bonuses at Saturday’s UFC 206 event.

Swanson and Choi took home “Fight of the Night” honors. Holloway and Vannata earned “Performance of the Night” awards

UFC officials announced the winners following the vent, which MMAjunkie attended.

Swanson (24-7 MMA, 9-3 UFC) and Choi (14-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) slugged back and forth for 15 minutes, and neither would go down. It was a sure-fire candidate for “Fight of the Year,” let alone the best fight on Saturday’s card. Swanson took the fight with a pair of 30-s7 scores and a 29-28.

Vannata (9-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) got his first UFC win in dramatic fashion, and it should go down as one of the best knockouts of the year. Vannata landed a perfectly placed spinning wheel kick to put John Makdessi (14-6 MMA, 7-6 UFC) out cold at the 1:40 mark of the first round of their lightweight fight on the preliminary card.

Holloway (17-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC) took out Anthony Pettis (19-6 MMA, 6-5 UFC) with a third-round TKO to win the interim featherweight title. Now hell move on to fight Jeo

UFC 206 took place at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, and the main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
