RIO DE JANEIRO – In another display of her dominance, Ronda Rousey blitzed through Bethe Correia in 34 seconds on Saturday night.
Rousey (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) toyed with the idea of taking a while to punish Correia (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC), or at least that’s what she teased leading into the fight. But that punishment came in the way of a few punches, including one final right hand to the temple that put the Brazilian face-first into the canvas in front of her home fans.
The bantamweight title fight headlined Saturday’s UFC 190 event at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janerio. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
