RIO DE JANEIRO – MMAjunkie was on scene for today’s UFC 179 fighter weigh-ins. Check out our photo gallery of the festivities.

Today’s weigh-ins took place at Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro. The same venue hosts Saturday’s card, which airs on pay-per-view and FOX Sports 1 and streams on UFC Fight Pass.

Among those weighing in were featherweight champion Jose Aldo (24-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) and Chad Mendes (16-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC), who rematch for Aldo’s title in the main event. In addition, Phil Davis (12-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and Glover Teixeira (22-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) meet in the co-feature.
