LAS VEGAS – T.J. DillashawRenan Barao and Mitch Clarke each earned $50,000 bonuses at Saturday’s UFC 173 event, and Dillashaw doubled up for $100,000.

Dillashaw and Barao earned “Fight of the Night” honors, and Dillashaw and Clarke picked up “Performance of the Night” awards.

UFC President Dana White announced the winners in the night’s post-fight news conference.

Dillashaw (10-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) dominated heavy favorite Barao (32-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) in the main event to win the bantamweight title. Barao was as much as a 10-to-1 favorite in the fight and hadn’t lost since 2005, making the upset one of the biggest in UFC and MMA history.

Clarke (11-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) stopped Al Iaquinta (8-3-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC) with a second-round D’Arce choke, pulling off another of the night’s several upsets. Iaquinta was a 5-to-1 favorite.

UFC 173 took place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
