With the major MMA shows taking a rare week off, UFC 162 is up next on the calendar on July 6.
Check out a slick 30-second preview of the event, which features middleweight champion Anderson Silva (33-4 MMA, 16-0 UFC) vs. top contender Chris Weidman (9-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) in the pay-per-view headliner.
At the event, which takes place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Silva looks to continue his reign of dominance. Currently, the 38-year-old champ holds UFC records for consecutive wins (16), consecutive and total title defenses (10), longest title reign (2,442 days and counting), fight-night bonuses (12) and “KO of the Night” awards (seven), among others.
In UFC 162's co-headliner, former lightweight champion and recent featherweight title challenger Frankie Edgar (15-4-1 MMA, 9-4-1 UFC) meets Charles Oliveira (16-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC).
