UFC president Dana White announced the UFC 162 attendance as 12,399 and the gate at $4.82 million.

If the Nevada State Athletic Commission confirms those numbers, they would make UFC 162 in as the fifth highest grossing mixed martial arts event in Nevada’s history.

Chris Weidman pulled off one of the greatest upsets in UFC history on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, knocking out Anderson Silva.

Silva is widely considered the top pound-for-pound fighter in the world, and held the belt longer than any middleweight champion in UFC history.

The top-grossing event in Nevada was last year’s UFC 148, which featured Anderson Silva defeating Chael Sonnen in the main event. UFC 148 grossed $6.9 million.
