Norman Parke vs. Kazuki Tokudome

Round 1: Parke leaps in with a knee to the body.  Tokudome is working his jab.  They exchange leg kicks.  Parke lands a right hand over the top.  Tokudome answers with an outside leg kick.  Parke moves forward.  He steps in with a straight left.  Tokudome works for a takedown.  Parke defends the attempt and preses Tokudome against the cage.  He drops down and secures a single leg takedown, but Tokudome immediately gets back to his feet.  They battle inside the clinch and Takudome gets a takedown.  He lands punches inside Parke’s guard.  Tokudome works to pass Parke’s guard but is unable to.  Parke reverses him and gains top control.  Tokudome rolls to try and stand but Parke stays on him and lands an elbow in the closing seconds.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Parke.

Round 2: Parke lands a right hand.  They exchange leg kicks.  Todudome lands a combination.  Parke lands a counter left hand.  He lands another left.  Todudome eats another shot.  They exchange.  Todudome has a chin.  Parke lands another left hand.  Parke is landing left hands at will and Tokudome is just taking them. Tokudome lands a left hand of his own.  Another clean left hand lands for Parke.  Parke ducks under a punch and gets the fight to the ground. Tokudome works his way back to his feet.  They separate and Tokudome lands a flying knee.  Parke takes him down and lands in the mount position.  Tokudome reverses him but Parke remains on top as Tokudome works to stand.  He gets to his feet and lands a left hand.  Parke’s left hand finds Tokudome’s chin again.  Tokudome fires back with a right hand.  The round ends.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Parke.

Round 3: They touch gloves to start the final round.  Tokudome moves forward.  Parke changes levels and works for a single leg takdown.  Tokudome defends the attempt.  Tokudome secures a takedown but gets reversed.  Tokudome gets back to his feet.  They work for position along the cage.  Tokudome delivers an elbow on the inside.  Parke takes Tokudome’s back and drags him to the canvas.  Tokudome gains top position on the way down, though.  Parke scrambles back to his feet.  Tokudome lands a head kick.  He drives forward and takes Parke to the ground.  Parke quickly gets back to his feet.  They separate.  Parke steps in with a combination.  Tokudome continues to press forward.  Parke changes levels and tries to get the fight to the ground.  Tokudome displays solid takedown defense.  Parke completes the takedown but Tokudome immediately gets back to his feet.  He attempts a guillotine choke at the bell.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Parke.

The judges score the fight for Parke by unanimous decision.  The scorecards read 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28.
