'UFC 159: Jones vs. Sonnen' full fight card and extended video preview

The UFC returns on Saturday for the fourth straight week with a light heavyweight title fight.

“UFC 159: Jones vs. Sonnen” takes place at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. New York native Jon Jones (17-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) meets two-time middleweight title challenger Chael Sonnen (27-12-1 MMA, 6-5 UFC) in the main event. The two coached opposite each other on Season 17 of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

Sonnen fights in the light heavyweight division for the first time in roughly nine years. It’s a fight that has been anticipated ever since UFC 151 was canceled this past September after Jones turned down a short-notice fight with Sonnen when Dan Henderson had to pull out with a knee injury. Eight months later, the two finally will meet after one of the lengthier and more interesting back stories in UFC history.

The card also features an important middleweight fight as Alan Belcher (18-7 MMA, 9-5 UFC) meets Michael Bisping (23-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) in the co-main event. Plus, Cheick Kongo (18-7-2 MMA, 11-5-1 UFC) takes on Roy Nelson (18-7 MMA, 5-3 UFC) at heavyweight; Phil Davis (10-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) and Vinny Magalhaes (10-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC) square off at light heavyweight; and Pat Healy (29-16 MMA, 0-1 UFC) debuts in the UFC in a lightweight fight against New Jersey native Jim Miller (22-4 MMA, 11-3 UFC).

Check out the UFC’s extended video preview for Saturday’s event above.
