Official fighter weigh-ins for next week’s “UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz” event are slated for Friday, March 15, at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
The same venue hosts the following night’s pay-per-view event, which features a long-awaited 170-pound title fight between UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre (23-2 MMA, 17-2 UFC) and rival Nick Diaz (26-8 MMA, 7-5 UFC) in the pay-per-view headliner.
The first fighter hits the scale at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT local time), and doors open to the public at 3 p.m. PT.
Prior to the weigh-ins, UFC Fight Club members are invited to a Q&A session with UFC Hall of Famer and current promotional exec Matt Hughes. The former UFC welterweight champion hits the stage at 2 p.m. PT, and doors open to members of the UFC’s official fan club one hour earlier.
In addition to the evening’s championship headliner, UFC 158 also features a few other key welterweight matchups as Carlos Condit (28-6 MMA, 5-2 UFC) faces Johny Hendricks (14-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) and Jake Ellenberger (28-6 MMA, 7-2 UFC) meets Nate Marquardt (32-11-2 MMA, 10-4 UFC). The night’s main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims in FX and Facebook.
