UFC 133 Official Medical Suspensions; Tito Ortiz Heads the List

UFC 133: Evans vs. Ortiz, the promotion’s return to Philadelphia, took place Saturday night, Aug. 6, at the Wells Fargo Center. Former UFC light heavyweight champions Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz squared off in a main event rematch, Evans walking away with a second-round TKO victory.

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission on Monday released the post-fight suspensions for UFC 133. The list was relatively short.

UFC 133 Evans vs. Ortiz Medical Suspensions:

Tito Ortiz – Suspended for 45 days

Yoshihiro Akiyama – Suspended for 60 days and must have a neurological exam prior to next bout

Dennis Hallman – Suspended for 45 days

Mike Pyle – Suspended for 45 days

Matt Hamill – Suspended for 45 days

Ivan Menjivar – Was fined for coming in overweight

Rafael Natal – Must have right hand examined prior to his next bout

Paul Bradley – Suspended for 30 days and must have left knee examined prior to next bout
