The UFC 133 fight card has gone through numerous changes, but has finally settled on a main event pitting Rashad Evans against Tito Ortiz in a rematch.
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans was originally slated to fight current champion Jon Jones on Aug. 6 in Philadelphia.
Down went Jones, sub-in up-and-comer Phil Davis.
Down went Davis, now, after a whirlwind of speculation, sub-in fellow former champ Tito Ortiz.
It been a long and winding road to the new UFC 133 main event pitting Evans against Ortiz, so much so that UFC president Dana White held a media conference call on Thursday to announce the change and the circumstances that lead to Ortiz stepping in little more than a month removed from his win over Ryan Bader at UFC 132.
