Round 1: Pace out quick grabs the body lock, as the separate Menjivar fires a big head kick but doesn’t land it. Pace looks for a throw, but Menjivar blocks it. Menjivar catches Pace a little below the belt, pause in the action. Pace is okay and here we go. Pace lands a nice takedown, putting Menjivar on his back with just over two minutes to go in the round. Pace takes his back and Menjivar stands up. Pace looking for the choke, but Menjivar stays out of trouble and Pace lets go and drops off his back.

Round 2: Menjivar trying to hit big strikes to start round 2. Menjivar looking primarily for kicks but then comes back with punches as Pace defends. Menjivar lands a nice spinning back kick as he continues to press the action. Menjivar traps Pace against the cage and unloads a series of knees to the head before Pace can finally escape. Menjivar still on the attack, but Pace shoots under and gets the takedown. Pace traps an arm but gets stuck in Menjivar’s half guard.

Round 3: Menjivar hitting some good kicks again in the third. Menjivar now throwing strikes with a lot of confidence, launches a couple of big punches. Nothing lands solid but he has Pace on the defensive. Menjivar cracks Pace with a great body kick. Another low blow pauses the fight, Pace is given a moment and the fight continues. Menjivar clearly the aggressor in this round, attacking at will. Pace lands a nice knee that busts Menjivar in the eye. Pace now on the attack, Menjivar back peddling. Pace looks for a jumping knee but misses as the fight comes to a close.
