UFC 132 Aftermath: Dominick Cruz ‘I Felt Like I Needed to Come Out and Win, That’s How I Fought’

When it comes to rivalries in MMA, there have been some major clashes over the years. Liddell vs. Ortiz, Evans vs. Rampage, and Lesnar vs. Mir.

In the world of the newly minted lighter weight classes of the UFC, there have been none bigger than Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber, and they at least somewhat settled the score on Saturday night at UFC 132.

Cruz and Faber put on a whirlwind of speed, power and accuracy as they battled for 25 minutes, while also earning ‘Fight of the Night’ honors.

When it was over, Dominick Cruz got the nod by unanimous decision and gained a sense of redemption after his only career loss came from an earlier fight with Faber in 2007.

Check out Dominick Cruz’s post fight comments after his first win in the UFC, and latest title defense of his bantamweight championship.
