Matt Hamill asked for his UFC 130 fight against Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson because he wanted the chance to face one of the best fighters in the world.
While the former ‘Ultimate Fighter’ competitor absolutely gained the respect of Jackson throughout their three round fight, he came up short in his performance, losing by unanimous decision.
Hamill admitted that Jackson was much tougher to take down than what he believed would happen, so he has plans to review the tape, figure out what went wrong and then it’s back to the drawing board.
