UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, whether others think so or not, believes he is in for the toughest fight of his career at UFC 129 on Saturday night. He faces multi-time, multi-promotional champion Jake Shields.
St-Pierre shifted gears on his training for this fight, even incorporating gymnastics into his routine. He believes that such unorthodox training helped to make him the most prepared he has ever been for a fight. Yet, he doesn’t look past Shields.
St-Pierre addressed the fight, the pressure of fighting before 55,000 fans in Toronto, and his training at Thursday UFC 129 pre-fight press conference.
