Brendan Schaub has stumbled only one time in his professional mixed martial arts career. And he doesn’t intend on that happening again anytime soon.
It has been five months since Schaub last set foot in the Octagon, but he’ll make his return Saturday night at UFC 128 in Newark, N.J. It’s too soon to tell if the fight will be his toughest to date, but it is definitely his most high profile.
Schaub faces the legendary Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic at the Prudential Center.
Schaub is a longtime fan of Cro Cop and his fighting style, but he’s not going the Pat Barry route. He wont’ be laughing and joking with the Croatian leading up to the fight. He intends to show his respect by giving Cro Cop the toughest fight of his life.
