The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Monday revealed that UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort is nearing sell-out status.
UFC middleweight champion, and always among the argument over the mythical pound-for-pound best fighter in the world, Anderson Silva attempts to defend his belt for a record eight time against “The Phenom,” Vitor Belfort, in the UFC 126 main event. Also featured is a light heavyweight battle between former UFC champions Rich Franklin and Forrest Griffin.
To meet further demand, the UFC is adding an official closed circuit viewing party in the Islander Ballroom at Mandalay Bay. UFC 126 takes place in the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday night.
Tickets for the closed circuit viewing party are $50 and go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT. Doors for the viewing party will open at 5 p.m. PT and the event will be shown live on big-screen monitors starting at 7 p.m. PT.
