Miletich Martial Arts representative Trey Houston has replaced the injured Josh Bryant in BattleGrounds MMA’s Single-Night, Eight-Man Tournament on June 27.

The promotion announced the change on Wednesday. Additionally, a tournament reserve bout pitting Marcus Sanchez against Jordan Smith has been added to the event. Should one of the original entrants become injured, the Sanchez-Smith winner will be available to take his place.

Battlegrounds MMA "O.N.E." takes place at the B.O.K. Center In Tulsa, Okla., and is highlighted by the welterweight bracket, which also includes Dennis Hallman, Cody McKenzie, Chris Honeycutt, Brock Larson, Luigi Fioravanti, David Mitchell and Roan Carneiro. The tournament winner will receive $50,000. The card also features a lightweight clash pitting UFC veteran Ryan Couture against Jonny Carson as well as a women’s 115-pound showdown between former Invicta FC talent Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc and Jen Aniano.

Houston enters the tournament having lost back-to-back fights under the Bellator MMA banner. The Bixby, Okla., native began his pro career with 10 straight victories, finishing all of his opponents by knockout, technical knockout or submission. Most recently, Houston tapped out to an arm-triangle choke against Luis Sergio Melo Jr. at Bellator 94.
