Titan FC 42 heads to Florida and adds 3 fights, including Cavalcante vs. Turnquest

Titan FC 42 was already stacked with four title fights, and now it has a location and three additional bouts.

The event takes place Dec. 2 at Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Fla., and it streams live on UFC Fight Pass. As previously announced, welterweight champ Dhiego Lima takes on Jason Jackson in the main event, which caps off four title fights to close the card.

Now, Gesias Cavalcante (20-9-1) returns to action for the first time since dropping the lightweight title to Freddy Assuncao at Titan FC 40. He faces Robert Turnquest (6-2), who’s coming off a win over Taylor Krahl at Titan FC 41.

Abdiel Velazquez (7-3) also experienced defeat in a title bout in his last trip to the cage. At Titan FC 40, Velazquez dropped a fight for the vacant flyweight title against Jose “Shorty” Torres. He now stands across the cage from Bruno Mesquita (6-2), a Brazilian making his promotional debut.

Also added to the card is a flyweight bout between Trisha Cicero (0-0), who’s making her pro debut after a 4-0 amateur career, and Angie Reinhardt (0-0), another debuting fighter with a solid 4-2 career as an amateur.

With the additions, the Titan FC 42 card includes:

• Farkhad Sharipov vs. Andrew Whitney – for vacant bantamweight title

• Adriano Capitulino vs. Hayder Hassan
• Gesias Cavalcante vs. Robert Turnquest
• Bruno Mesquita vs. Abdiel Velazquez
• Trish Cicero vs. Angie Reinhardt
