Tickets go on sale this week for UFC on FOX 17 in Florida, featuring a lightweight title fight at the top of the bill.
UFC on FOX 17 takes place Dec. 19 at Amway Center in Orlando. The main card airs on FOX following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos (24-7 MMA, 13-5 UFC), who’s ranked No. 1 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA lightweight rankings, defends his title for the first time when he meets No. 4-ranked Donald Cerrone (28-6 MMA, 15-3 UFC).
The co-headliner is a bout between former heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos (17-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) and former Strikeforce champ Alistair Overeem (39-14 MMA, 4-3 UFC). In addition, lightweights Michael Johnson (16-9 MMA, 8-5 UFC) and Nate Diaz (17-10 MMA, 12-8 UFC) are booked, and strawweight newcomer Karolina Kowalkiewicz (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) meets “TUF” product Randa Markos (5-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) to open up the main card.
Tickets are available at Ticketmaster and the Amway Center box office and range in price from $50 plus fees to get in the door to $250 plus fees for cageside seats.
Tickets are on sale now to UFC Fight club members. UFC e-newsletter subscribers can purchase tickets THursday at 10 a.m. ET. And on Friday, the general public can buy tickets at 10 a.m. ET. Other ticket pricing levels include $75, $90, $125 and $175, plus fees.
