Gray Maynard and Nate Diaz headline Saturday’s The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas. First, they and the rest of the fight card had to weigh-in on Friday to make their bouts official.
This being the third time that Maynard and Diaz have faced off, neither had any issues making weight, although the staredown was intense. The two didn’t get into any pushing or shoving, but Diaz had his fists outstretched, as Maynard held his ground, not giving Diaz any quarter.
Julianna Peña and Jessica Rakoczy square off in the TUF 18 women’s 135-pound final, while Chris Holdsworth and Davey Grant fight it out for the men’s 135-pound honors. None of the finalists had any issues making weight.
