During the eighteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter, they were teammates on Team Rousey, but Jessamyn Duke and Peggy Morgan will not be teammates when they face off at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale on Nov. 30.
UFC officials announced the match-up on Monday.
Duke (2-0, 1 NC) earned her spot in the fighter house with a submission win over Laura Holwarth in the preliminary round. She was defeated by Raquel Pennington during the elimination round by unanimous decision in what may have been Fight of the Season.
Morgan (2-0) secured her place on the reality series by defeating Bethany Marshall by technical knockout in the preliminary round. She lost to Sarah Moras by submission during the elimination round.
The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale takes place on Nov. 30 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Lightweights Nate Diaz and Gray Maynard will meet for the third time in the main event.
The fight card also features the finals of the season. Chris Holdsworth faces Davey Grant to determine this season’s male winner, while Julianna Pena faces the winner of Raquel Pennington and Jessica Rakoczy to decide the first female TUF champion.
