The fight cards for the first two UFC events on the yet-to-be-launched Fox Sports 1 network are filling up fast.
The latest addition to UFC on Fox Sports 1: Condit vs. Kampmann – the second of the initial UFC events on the new sports network – is a welterweight bout between Robert Whittaker and Court McGee.
The bout is a battle between past The Ultimate Fighter champions.
Whittaker (11-2) won The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes season in Australia, defeating Brad Scott by unanimous decision in the season’s finale. He followed that up with a third-round knockout of Colton Smith at UFC 160 over Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas.
McGee (14-3) won The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 in the U.S. He made his welterweight debut by defeating Josh Neer by unanimous decision at UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche in February.
Welterweight contenders Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann square off in the UFC on FS1 2 main event on Aug. 28 in Indianapolis.
