The April 20 episode brought a small increase in its household rating with a 0.93, up from episode two’s 0.9. However, the male 18-34 and 18-49 demographics each took a hit in week four, registering ratings of 1.23 and 1.24, respectively. Both figures are down from last week’s ratings of 1.7 and 1.4 in those categories.
Episode four saw Team Dos Santos earn its third victory in the competition, as Ramsey Nijem (Pictured) outworked Team Lesnar’s Charlie Rader en route to a second-round submission win. Nijem immediately pressed the attack in the fight’s early going, corralling Rader against the cage and digging hard for a takedown. The Team Dos Santos representative finally finished his maneuver, putting Rader on his back near the end of the round.
The second frame proved even worse for Rader, as Nijem again took him to the floor, this time pounding on him before taking his back. Nijem applied a rear-naked choke, and Rader quickly tapped, prompting Rader's coach, Brock Lesnar, to throw his stool into the Octagon out of frustration.
