Episode four of “The Ultimate Fighter 12” earned a 1.3 rating, matching its rating from week three. Though the series held form in its household rating, the overall average audience dropped from 1.8 million viewers to 1.6 million.

The episode earned a 1.6 rating in the male 18-49 demographic and a 2.03 in males 18-34. Both of those figures were improvements over last week's episode.

Viewership increased proportionally as the episode progressed, with the first quarter hour drawing a 1.14 household rating and the final fifteen minutes earning a 1.32.

Episode four featured more antics from Alex Caceres, as he incited more contempt from his housemates. The episode also featured more hijinks from coach Koscheck, as he attempted to get under the skin of welterweight titleholder Georges St. Pierre by wearing tight shorts and mocking the champion's ring attire. The show culminated with Team GSP's Kyle Watson defeating Team Koscheck's Andy Main by rear-naked choke.

The Lesnar vs. Velasquez episode of “UFC Primetime” netted an average viewership of 974,000 viewers and earned a 1.01 household rating in the male 18-49 demographic. Additionally, the episode scored a 1.46 rating in men 18-34.
