MMAWeekly.com‘s Damon Martin was able to track Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker down after Thursday’s Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson press conference in Chicago. What ensued was an exclusive one-on-one interview that turned into a de facto State of the Union address touching on all corners of the promotion.

Coker talked in detail about the contract status of Saturday’s main eventers, Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson, plans for the welterweight title vacated by former champion Nick Diaz, women’s MMA under the Zuffa banner, the status of Gina Carano and Cris Cyborg, and a few other items.
