The Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine medical suspensions were released on Monday to MMAWeekly.com by the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission.
Five fighters were handed medical suspensions following Saturday night’s event at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Ed Herman and Kurt Holobaugh received indefinite suspensions. Each must provide proof of medical clearance to the OSAC before either is cleared to fight again.
Dion Staring: Suspended for 30 days due to suffering a TKO loss.
Ed Herman: Suspended indefinitely; must provide commission with medical clearance on right shoulder, hand, and elbow.
Kurt Holobaugh: Suspended indefinitely; must provide commission with medical clearance on right hand.
Anthony Smith: Suspended for 30 days due to cuts over his left eye.
Mike Bravo: Suspended for 30 days due to suffering a TKO loss.
